RM of Sasman

RM of Sasman ratepayers excluding Margo village (Margo residents, please scroll down to Ottenbreits’ list for info; and drop off your garbage and recycling in bins by the rink) may drop off Household GARBAGE in the brown bins behind the RM shop in Kuroki on Friday mornings from 7 a.m. till noon. (If a holiday falls on a Friday, the bins may be open on Thursday morning instead. Please phone the office to find out.) The recycling bins are always open.

Garbage and recycling may also be left at the Geck Pit or the bins in Kuroki. There is a bin for recycling only at the Rosebud Pit.

Please do not dump mattresses and other not-permitted non-household garbage in the bins at Geck Pit. Such an action has resulted in the garbage bins overflowing, other ratepayers leaving their garbage on the ground outside the bins, and a mess at the site and beyond — on the landowners’ property. Please be aware that such actions could result in the Geck Pit no longer being available for garbage and recycling drop-off.

Anyone seen leaving garbage outside the buildings or bins at any other time will be fined. Household garbage and recycling can also be left at the Geck Pit.
